Reading is the main commercial centre in the Royal County of Berkshire. It benefits from being extremely well located in the M4 corridor, 38 miles west of Central London, 25 miles south of Oxford and 18 miles north of Basingstoke. The city has excellent transport links with Junction 10 of the M4, just 3.5 miles (5 km) to the south of the subject property connecting Reading to the national motorway network. Reading station is a hub for First Great Western rail services, with a fastest journey time of 26 minutes to London, running every 15 minutes at peak times. The redeveloped station will accommodate the new Elizabeth line service when Crossrail becomes operational in December 2019.
